The dataset is derived from the article by Nguyen-Viet (2022) – “Understanding the Influence of Eco-label and Green Advertising on Green Purchase Intention: The Mediating Role of Green Brand Equity.” This study was conducted on a sample of 870 consumers who have purchased milk products in Vietnam. It aims to examine the direct impacts of eco-labels and green advertising on green purchase intention and the mediating role of green brand equity.
Abstract:
Consumers are increasingly aware of the environmental and social impacts of their consumption. To engage in eco-responsible transactions, consumers require product information related to the environment. Hence, marketers and companies are increasingly using green marketing tools to integrate detailed environmental information into their products, such as eco-labels and green advertising. This study aims to examine the direct effects of eco-labels and green advertising on green purchase intention and the mediating role of green brand equity. Data were collected from a sample of 870 consumers who have purchased milk products in Vietnam. The results indicate that eco-labels and green advertising have significant positive effects on green purchase intention directly and through flexible dimensions of green brand equity as a mediating mechanism. The study provides necessary insights for companies and marketers to explore issues related to green purchase intention and green brand equity, thereby identifying the roles of eco-labels and green advertising.

The results of this sample data differ from the original research results in that, with this sample data, all relationships in the model are statistically significant. In the author’s original model, the results will be different, specifically:
